Off The Hook Fish Grill: Fresh Seafood and Casual Dining in Whittier

Have been coming here for almost 4 yrs since we moved to whitter we try to support the local restaurants. They have plenty of parking in the back so that is never a problem. Staff is great. We had never has a problem with them. My husband's go to is the shrimp cocktail. He likes more of the tangy taste. He said he does not need to add any flavor to it compared to other places where he can taste the fishy flavor. I always order the shrimp ceviche. Lots of shrimp on both of our plates. We don't go anywhere else and if we do it's always a disappointment because tonus it doesn't compare to Off the hook.

I enjoy watching games at this sports bar with draft beers and their amazing seafood plates! Highlights of the menu: 1. Calamari strips 2. Shrimp and octopus coctelles 3. Mahi mahi off the grill - with rice and salad 4. Seared ahi tuna off the grill - with rice and salad 5. Tacos: our fish, grilled shrimp, grilled salmon 6. Basa off the fryer - with fries and coleslaw

Food and service were absolutely amazing! Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and even better than expected. Our server, Justin, did an outstanding job taking care of us from start to finish. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure our order was perfect. It really made the whole experience enjoyable. I highly recommend coming here if you’re looking for great food and great service. Wow this place is really good. Mom and I have been here twice since William doesn't like fish. Not only are the portion sizes extremely generous but the price is even more so generous. Also they have happy hours between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on weekdays which is really nice. Finally, the food is so delicious I really like coming here. Perhaps they don't have some of the variety of the places like bizarra capital have but the food is just as good.

I was introduced to this place by my auntie and her friends. Fish tacos are so good. We love the creamy Chipotle, highly recommend. Great place, great atmosphere. There's outside seating as well.

A Whittier classic! One of the best places to get fish. Fish tacos, grilled or fried plates, chowder and ceviche, they have it covered . Service is super friendly. They've got screens and beer so you can catch a game here as well. Always a place I take people to or recommend. It's in the name... Off the hook!

This place is always busy because the food is so tasty. One time we waited more than 40 min for our food, but boy it was all worth it. While eating we saw many customers actually picking up the food. Outdoor seating also available. Parking on the street or at RiteAid's parking lot :) Shrimp tacos, grilled fish with rice pilaf was crazy good. There were some really awesome looking drinks, didn't try them since I was pregnant but if in the Whittier Area again, will definitely stop by. Every day of the week they have specials, so go ahead!!

Outside dining or indoor sports bar like atmosphere. It's a nice little place near uptown Whittier. Fried Basa combined with the butter sauce was extremely delicious. Nothing beats a beer and fish n chips. Lobster taco wasnt really the type of lobster i expected, but i mainly came for the fish n chips
